Tysons, Va. – The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (Northern Virginia Chamber) today announced the nominees for the 2017 Distinguished Service Awards to be presented on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

The Distinguished Service Awards: Honoring Veteran, Businesses & Leaders in Greater Washington celebrates individuals, companies, and non-profit organizations for their service to veterans in the Greater Washington business community. The Awards are presented in recognition of community stewardship and business leadership.

“Veterans are an incredibly impactful part of the Northern Virginia business community,” said Jim Corcoran, Northern Virginia Chamber President & CEO. “This year’s nominees represent leading veteran entrepreneurs, established veteran-owned businesses, and organizations serving veterans. Gregory D. Gadson, a retired colonel in the United States Army and the former garrison commander of the U.S. Army Fort Belvoir, will present a keynote address.
